Quite simply, I had one of the most interesting, rewarding times of my life. China was everything I had hoped for and much more - a country still totally distinct from the West whilst aping many Western ways and surely changing more rapidly than any other country on earth. The Chinese people are some of the warmest I have ever met. Teaching was challenging at times but always rewarding and there was a real sense of camaraderie between all the teachers.

Our Teach English programmes are ideal for those looking to experience China - while earning a good monthly wage. You will be able to save enough money to travel during your placement and after it. We have placements available in various locations throughout China, including Shanghai and Beijing

Programme includes:

16-25 hours of English teaching per week depending on location.
Accommodation. A spacious bedroom and shared living/dinning room, bathroom with other English teacher.
Highly competitive monthly salary of 4000RMB – 8000RMB depending on location and experience.
Flight reimbursement for some placements.
Airport pick-up and drop off.
Help with booking train tickets and hotels.
Work permit processing in China.
Help with all visa applications.

Deaprture Dates: February or September.

NB: Contract details vary with each placement but the above is an approximate guide to what can be expected. China Recruitment arranges teaching contracts with schools, universities, and language institutions in China. We ensure that the contract is fair and provides a good monthly salary relevant to the teacher’s qualifications. We provide support for you once in China and you will be given the contact numbers of the China Recruitment office in Beijing. In the unlikely case of a dispute between the Teacher and the school, China Recruitment will act to resolve the issue as quickly and as fairly as possible, within the terms of your contract. We only use schools that we have built up a good relationship with and trust to provide a high standard of care to our teachers.
